2.0 Travel in Ukraine – Introduction

Travelling within Ukraine has become easier in recent years, with much more information available to passengers, both online and in other formats. There are now many travel agencies offering services to visitors. It is, of course, less expensive to make travel arrangements yourself, and, even if you do use the services of others, it is useful to be aware of the system of transport and the services available.

By working through Module 2 you will practise:

• reading and understanding information on travelling around Ukraine
• listening to and understanding advice on travelling to Ukrainian cities
• understanding and filling in the relevant forms
• the vocabulary and grammatical structures needed to understand spoken and written information relating to travel which you will need to discuss this topic.
