If you are visiting Ukraine for a period of research or study, your best option for finding suitable accommodation is probably renting an apartment. Whilst letting agencies may offer an English-language service, many will have limited knowledge of the language, as will many private landlords. It is therefore useful to be able to express your requirements in Ukrainian. Using the materials on pages 3.2 and 3.5, write notes, in Ukrainian, on the type of accommodation you are seeking. You are looking for a two-room furnished apartment near the city centre, no more than five minutes walk from the shops
